What services do you offer?

We provide professional bookkeeping services for both nonprofits and businesses. Our core work includes transaction categorization, reconciliations, and financial reporting, all designed to give you clear and accurate financial records. For organizations with backlogs, we also offer cleanup projects to bring books current before transitioning into a monthly package.

How does billing work, and when will I receive my reports?

We bill on a fixed monthly subscription, with cleanup projects billed separately at $125/hour (20-hour retainer required). Monthly financial statements are delivered by the end of the third week of the following month, as long as documents are provided on time.

Do you work with clients nationwide?

Yes. House of Standard serves organizations across the United States. All services are provided remotely using QuickBooks Online, U.S. currency for billing, and secure document sharing through Google Drive. Our systems are designed for nationwide support, giving every client the same precision and professionalism.

What happens if I go over my plan limits?

Each package includes a defined scope of transactions, accounts, and payroll. If your organization’s needs grow beyond that, we’ll either bill overages at $150/hour or recommend upgrading to the next tier. If you exceed limits for two months in a row, we’ll move you into the plan that best fits your size. This keeps everything clear, fair, and predictable.

Do you prepare taxes?

We do not file taxes, but we ensure tax preparation is simple and stress-free. Our role is to keep your books accurate, organized, and audit-ready. We provide all the reports your CPA or tax professional needs, and we can coordinate directly with them if requested.
